Words of Gratitude from WriteGirl Alumnae

As we head into the holiday season, we've been receiving messages of gratitude from our alumnae in college. Here are a few notes from our girls.

Vivian Enriquez: "I am grateful for meeting my amazing mentor Rebecca Addelman and the wonderful opportunities presented to me, like publishing my poetry in the anthology. Additionally, it's amazing the ways in which supportive women have facilitated the college application process for me. I never thought I'd attend a private college in the midwest, about 2,000 miles away. I'm also grateful for the inspiration I have received through this welcoming space where I had the ability to express myself through writing. Thank you, WriteGirl!"

Sierra Soto: “WriteGirl helped me grow not just as a writer, but as a woman. I miss those workshops where I would leave feeling empowered, strong and inspired. I’m so grateful for my time in the program and every day I wish I could go back. It’s such an amazing experience to surround yourself with such awesome women who will support you endlessly. I love WriteGirl, and I want to thank them for helping me get where I am today.”

Molly Kleinman: "I'm grateful to WriteGirl for helping me write my college essays! Not only did they help me get into a college I love, but they also prepared me to write all the essays I have for class! I am especially  grateful for my mentor Shontel, who makes my writing better and always encourages me to follow my interest. Thank you WriteGirl for keeping me writing all these years!"
