Songwriting Workshop 2017
Huntington Library & Gardens, February 11th
10 AM to 4:30 PM
This day-long educational event gives girls tools and guidance for writing song lyrics through small group writing activities, panel discussions and live performances. Girls learn about song themes, structure, “the hook”, rhyme, repetition and more. GRAMMY-award winning singer/songwriters will share their expertise and help coach girls throughout the day as well as perform selected girls’ lyrics at the end of the day. It’s an exciting spontaneous showcase.
