  • Elevate-Public Affairs — Looking for undergrad and grad interns with great writing and conversational skills to gain experience working on media pitches, press conferences, coalition building and more in their Burbank office beginning September 2019.   • Exposition Review — Seeking interns in Los Angeles for Fall 2019 who are interested in learning more about the literary scene. Interns will assist their editors with incoming submissions, outreach, social media, fundraising and grant research, and a final project!   • Society19 Media The online magazine SOCIETY19 is hiring a lifestyle magazine intern who can write from a range of topics such as fashion, beauty, home decor, city and college life, food, trending content, and more.   • Women’s Voices Now — Internship entails the recruitment of content for the Women’s Voices Now digital publication The WVoice. Interns correspond with authors, recruit pieces, do initial rounds of editing, catalogue the submission, biographical information on the author, and collect high-resolution images to accompany the piece. Writing Contests

  • One Teen Story – One Teen Story is holding a contest for writers ages 13-19. They are looking for original unpublished fiction, specifically short stories. The winning stories will be published in upcoming issues of One Teen Story. Submissions are being accepted between September 3 and November 15, 2019. Submit here!
